Principal's Corner

Dear Families,

Welcome to Ramstein Intermediate School, the place where learning puts you in great spots! It is with great excitement and pride that I welcome you to our vibrant and joyful learning community. At our school, we believe that every day is an opportunity to inspire, grow, and achieve—together.

We sincerely believe that every child belongs and is an essential part of what makes our school such a wonderful place! Our vision is simple yet powerful: Excellent instruction for Every Student, Every Day, Everywhere.  We are committed to creating a fun and engaging environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged to reach their wildest dreams.

Our dedicated teachers are eager to greet you and your children with open arms and open hearts. They are passionate about teaching and are here to support every learner on their journey of discovery and growth.

This year, we are especially focused on strengthening our students’ skills in written expression & modeling and reasoning. You will hear these terms often and will likely see information at home. These core areas are essential for developing thoughtful, articulate, and confident learners who can express their ideas clearly and solve problems creatively.

We look forward to partnering with you to make this school year a memorable and successful one. Thank you for being a part of our school family—we’re so glad you’re here!

Warm regards,

Caryn Currie

Principal

May is National Speech-Language-Hearing Month - a time to recognize the importance of communication and to honor the professionals who make it possible for so many students to find their voice. Across the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools, Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) play a vital role in supporting student success, regardless of location, language, or need. Though separated by oceans and time zones, DoDEA SLPs have found a powerful way to stay connected and collaborate through a Microsoft TEAMS group that spans the globe.
