Over 800 students and staff signed the banner, which is now displayed at the Ramstein Commissary as a symbol of heartfelt gratitude for the dedicated service and sacrifices of these heroes. The project was led by Anchored 4 Life students in collaboration with the school’s Military and Family Life Counselors.

The banner, which features heartfelt messages of thanks, was created by students involved in the Anchored 4 Life program, with support from the school’s Military and Family Life Counselors (MFLCs). This initiative provided an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to personally engage in honoring military service members and their families, who play a vital role in the defense of the nation.

Anchored 4 Life is a student-led program designed to build resiliency and support military-connected youth. This year, the students worked alongside the school’s MFLCs to design and execute the banner project, inviting every member of the school community to sign it in honor of veterans and military families.

The banner, now proudly displayed at the Ramstein Commissary, serves as a visible reminder of the school’s ongoing commitment to honoring those who serve and their families. The display is especially poignant as it coincides with the approach of Veterans Day, a time to reflect on the sacrifices of military members and their loved ones.

The project has not only fostered a sense of pride and unity among the students, but it also demonstrates the school’s deep appreciation for the veterans and military families who make significant sacrifices to support the mission of the U.S. military.
